Applications include food processing, community cooking, solar-assisted comfort cooling, laundry, pharmaceutical processing, drying and dyeing operations.
Scheffler reflector concentrators receive solar radiation from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and focus sunlight onto receivers during operation. These receivers are attached to a steam tank. The concentrators are elliptical in shape with an aperture area of 16 m² or 32 m² and are connected to different steam headers depending on the system configuration.
The system features telescopic clamps for seasonal tracking, a receiver, make-up water or fluid arrangement, and a reflected beam that remains aligned throughout the day once set in the morning. The axis of rotation is parallel to the Earth’s axis, ensuring continuous solar tracking. The system supports steam, hot water, and hot thermic fluid generation with integrated storage tanks.
